Malaysia will celebrate the holy Eid al-Adha on Wednesday, May 27, according to an official announcement from the country’s Royal Council.(মালয়েশিয়ায় আগামী ২৭ মে  বুধবার পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহা উদযাপিত হবে। দেশটির রাজা পরিষদের পক্ষ থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে এ ঘোষণা দেওয়া হয়েছে।)

The country’s media outlet “Astro Awani” reported that the 1st of Dhul Hijjah in the year 1447 Hijri will begin tomorrow, Monday, May 18. Accordingly, the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, which marks the holy Eid al-Adha, will be observed on May 27.(দেশটির গনমাধ্যম ‘অ্যাস্ট্রো আওয়ানি’ জানিয়েছে, ১৪৪৭ হিজরির ১ জিলহজ শুরু হবে আগামীকাল সোমবার ১৮ মে। সেই হিসাবে ১০ জিলহজ তথা পবিত্র ঈদুল আজহা পালিত হবে আগামী ২৭ মে।)

Muhammad Afendi Jalaluddin, Acting Assistant Secretary of the Royal Council, made the announcement during a live broadcast on national television.(দেশটির রাজা পরিষদের ভারপ্রাপ্ত সহকারী সচিব মুহাম্মদ আফেন্দি জালালুদ্দিন জাতীয় টেলিভিশনে সরাসরি সম্প্রচারে এ ঘোষণা দেন।)

Meanwhile, even before the official announcement, preparations for Eid al-Adha had already begun across the country among both local and expatriate Muslims. Various mosques, suraus, and Islamic organizations have already started organizing preparations for Qurbani and Eid prayers throughout the country.(এদিকে এই ঘোষণার আগেই দেশজুড়ে স্থানীয় মুসলিমদের পাশাপাশি প্রবাসী মুসলিমদের মধ্যেও ঈদুল আজহার প্রস্তুতি শুরু হয়েছে। বিভিন্ন মসজিদ, সুরাউ ও ইসলামিক সংগঠন ইতিমধ্যে কুরবানি এবং ঈদের নামাজের আয়োজনের প্রস্তুতি নিতে শুরু করেছে দেশটি ।)
